Professional Licensure by State - Hawaii

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PROVISIONAL LICENSE:

A non-renewable provisional license may be granted for three (3) years when you meet the following criteria:

  1. Possess a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or the equivalent from a non-U.S. institution;
  2. Complete a State-approved teacher, librarian or counselor education program;
  3. Meet basic skills and content knowledge requirements;
  4. Clear the professional fitness check.

Approval Status

Pima Community College’s Post Baccalaureate Teacher Education Program meets the academic requirements for initial certification.
