General Application

Are you looking to earn a degree or certificate? Do these descriptions match you? If so, this is where you start!

  • I am no longer in high school and have never attended college before;
  • I'm transferring to PCC from another college or university - in Arizona or from another state;
  • I attended PCC in the past but it has been more than three (3) semesters and I'm ready to come back!
  • I may be in high school now, but I want to attend after I earn my diploma.

High School Dual Enrollment

I’m a current high school student who wants to earn college credits by taking courses offered at a high school.

Workforce/Professional

I want to earn job-ready skills quickly and affordably through noncredit fast-tracked programs that prepare me for in-demand, industry-recognized skills and credentials, ideal for upskilling and reskilling my career.

Personal Development / Guest

  • I'm currently enrolled at another institution and want to take classes to transfer back.
  • I want to take one or more credit courses for personal enrichment/audit.
  • I want to take one or more credit courses to upskill or advance in my current career field.
  • I'm still in high school, but I want to take a personal interest class now at PCC (not a course taught at my high school for college and high school credit).

Adult Basic Education

I want to earn a High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma or improve my English language, reading, writing, or math skills to prepare for college or career opportunities.

International Student

  • I want to apply for an F-1 student visa to study at Pima in person.
  • I already have a visa and I want to study while on this visa.
  • I want to study online from outside the U.S. as a foreign citizen.

Transition

  • I have attended Pima in the past as a Dual Enrollment student, or as a non-degree-seeking student but I want to come back to earn college credit.
  • I've already applied to PCC but I want to start sooner.

Please have your Social Security Number and ID documents ready to upload to your computer or device to submit with your application (only one of the following is needed):

  • Valid Driver License
  • U.S. Birth Certificate
  • U.S. Passport
  • Tribal ID Card
  • Military ID

Admission Application Availability

Spring:  June 1st of prior year
Summer:  August 1st of prior year
Fall:  October 1st of prior year
Example - The Fall 2026 admission application will be available on October 1st, 2025
 

MyPima 

Once your application is submitted and you have received your student A#, activate your MyPima and follow the My New Student Checklist.

Enrollment Status Definitions (Enrolled credits per term)

  • Full-Time = 12 credits or more
  • ¾-time = 9 - 11.99 credits
  • ½-time = 6 - 8.99 credits
  • Less-than-½-time = 5.99 credits or less

    * Courses that do not count toward active enrollment include: Waitlisted, Dropped, Withdrawn (W grades), Repeat, Not required or applicable in your program of study
