Entrepreneurship Certificate
The Entrepreneurship Certificate at Pima Community College prepares you to work in various industries and helps you develop entrepreneurial skills to become a successful entrepreneur and small business owner.
We take an interdisciplinary approach. Each of our academic disciplines teaches components of the entrepreneurial mindset: creativity; critical thinking; design thinking; problem solving; empathy; and human values/wants/needs. These are the building blocks of “creating value for others” and “solving problems” – essences of the entrepreneurial mindset. Successful entrepreneurs are able to define their customers, articulate their value proposition, craft their business model, develop entrepreneurial opportunities and create value for others.
