The Computer-Aided Design AAS will give you the background and CAD skills need to succeed as a CAD drafter/designers in building design, land development or mechanical/electro-mechanical design.

Careers

Completing this program can lead to employment in a variety of different careers:

  • Entry-level designer for manufacturing includes drafting and computer modeling for the defense industry, product design, mining, automotive, and electronics.
  • Entry-level designer for building construction includes drafting and computer modeling for architectural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mining, interior design.
  • Entry-level designer for land development includes drafting and computer modeling for survey, civil, transportation, utility, and landscape design.
