Honors

Certificate

The Honors Certificate at Pima Community College is your pathway to deeper learning, personal growth and standout achievement — no extra time required.

You’ll earn honors credit through classes already in your regular degree or certificate plan. Complete at least 15 credit hours of Pima Honors courses (including HON 101: Honors Colloquium) with an A or B, and graduate with a GPA of 3.5 or higher to earn this transcript-recognized distinction.

Along the way, you’ll benefit from small class sizes, one-on-one faculty mentoring, support with scholarships and recommendation letters, and connections to university honors programs. Want to work with Honors outside the classroom? Get involved in the Honors Club or Phi Theta Kappa for leadership, service and community with other like-minded students.

Join a vibrant, curious, motivated community — and take your college experience to a higher level.
