Pre-Admission Information Session

Students are also encouraged to review the PowerPoint presentation as a reference for additional program information, important deadlines, admission requirements, and frequently discussed topics covered during the session.

CNA Enrollment Requirements
- Accuplacer NextGen Examinations on ONE unofficial transcript indicating the following:
- Reading Score – 236 minimum
- Write-placer Score – 4 minimum
- Quantitative Reasoning Score – 200 minimum
- Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card: Level 1
- Proof of current personal health insurance
- Physical exam report
- Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test results (T-SOPT or QuantiFERON Gold)
- Proof of American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Immunization record or titers (potential declination)
- Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) x 2 positive serology (titer)
- Varicella immunization x 2 or positive serology (titer)
- Hepatitis B immunization (two or three series) or positive reactive serology (titer)
- Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) within the last ten (10) years
- Current influenza vaccination
Applying for Program Enrollment
You must complete Accuplacer NexGen Examinations, with scores posted on PCC transcripts, before enrolling in nursing assistant coursework. You should attach to your Nursing Assistant Application and unofficial transcript with posted Accuplacer Individual Score reports.
Application deadlines:
- Fall entry is June 30 annually. Submit application packet between June 1 and June 30
- Spring entry is October 31 annually. Submit application packet between October 1 and October 31
- Summer entry is March 31 annually, Submit application packet between March 1 and March 31
If you are not selected for the program, you are encouraged to re-apply at the next application cycle.
