Build a career in construction with Pima Community College’s Building and Construction Technology program. Our hands-on classes move at your pace, so you can learn in a way that fits your schedule. Experienced professionals will teach you the same tools and techniques you’ll use on real job sites.

Specializing can make all the difference, and at Pima, you can choose a path that matches your interests—whether that’s cabinetmaking, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC-R (heating and cooling), or construction management. Bonus - completing a certificate gets you halfway to the AAS Degree in Building and Construction Technologies. And our AAS degree seamlessly transfers to a 90/30 bachelor’s degree program at Northern Arizona University that you can complete through online courses without leaving Tucson.

With many experienced workers nearing retirement, the construction industry is growing fast. This means steady demand, great training opportunities, better pay, and more job choices.
