Welding

Whether you’re an experienced welder or looking for a new career, the Welding Technology program is for you. Almost every manufacturing industry uses welding at some stage of assembly, or to repair or maintain equipment. New technologies and welding techniques are making welding more useful than ever and boosting productivity.

Pima’s Welding program uses both lecture and hands-on training to teach basic and advanced welding techniques and processes. At Pima, you will learn a variety of processes from oxygen fuel welding and cutting to automated robotic welding.

You will be prepared for successful employment in construction fabrication and industrial manufacturing settings as a welder, cutter, fabricator and welding machine operator. PCC Welding offers courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy and computer aided drafting as well as the core electric arc welding processes.
