Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement

A career in public safety and security is a good match for someone looking for an occupation where you can “serve and protect.”

Public safety and security careers offer rewarding opportunities in a variety of different work settings. From overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or those convicted of a crime and sentenced to incarceration, to helping protect the public and controlling traffic and preventing and investigating crimes, many opportunities exist that you can pursue.

At Pima, you can pursue an Associate of Arts degree or an Associate of Applied Science degree for transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Justice Studies or related programs.

You can also earn a Certificate in Law Enforcement through Pima’s full-authority peace officer academy.
