ESC Offers Virtual Office Hours for EPAF
The Employee Service Center is hosting open office hours via Google Meets in order to provide training and assistance with the Electronic Personnel Action Form(EPAF).

Anyone needing EPAF assistance is welcome to join at any time and stay as long as needed, whether it’s for five minutes or the entire session.

Donate to College Police Toy Drive Before Dec. 13
College Police is having its annual Holiday Toy Drive, this year benefitting children at the El Rio preschool. Please, drop off a new, unwrapped toy suitable for a child at any police office before Dec. 13.

Cababi Art & Literary Magazine Submissions Due Dec. 15
Cababi Art & Literary Magazine is now accepting art and literary submissions for the 2024-2025 edition. Submit your artwork, photography, creative writing or performance videos by Dec. 15 here. If you're interested in volunteering for Cababi, please contact Molly McCloy, mamccloy@pima.edu.

Student Employee of The Year Nominations Sought
Work Study Supervisors have until Jan. 31 to make nominations for Student Employee of The Year (SEOTY). Take this opportunity to highlight the work of your student employee by completing this form.

Sign Up to Table at Student Employment Week Events
The College’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is seeking employees and instructors to table at one of its National Student Employment Week events April 14-17.

The event offers opportunities to meet current and future student workers, and share College information and resources.

Anyone interested should fill out this form. You can sign up to table on more than one day.

These are the event details:

  • April 14, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: Downtown Campus 
  • April 15, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: East Campus
  • April 16, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: West Campus
  • April 17, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: Desert Vista Campus

Minimum Wage Increase for City of Tucson
Effective Jan. 1, the minimum wage in the City of Tucson will increase to $15.00 per hour. While Arizona’s state minimum wage will be $14.70 per hour, the City of Tucson’s higher rate of $15.00 per hour applies to employees who work at least five hours per pay cycle within Tucson’s city boundaries. This increase will impact temporary employees paid under the Unclassified Pay Schedule. If you have questions regarding this change, please contact Human Resources, hr@pima.edu.

  • Through Dec. 17: Music Department Fall 2024 Music Series, various venues at West Campus Center for the Arts:

Tickets are $6/$5 unless otherwise noted, sold on Eventbrite.

  • Through Jan. 9: “Neda Contreras - Paintings,” Desert Vista Art Gallery, Pueblo Building, Desert Vista Campus; this exhibit showcases Contreras’s oil paintings, which blend whimsical beach scenes with skeletons, and lowrider scenes depicting the society and culture in the Southwest, rooted in Mexican Folk Art traditions.

Unless noted otherwise, Pima Arts programs and exhibitions are free to the public.

The Bernal Gallery will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 3 for Winter Break.
