Employees Can Designate Campus for Hygiene Closet Donations
The College’s Hygiene Closet has received a total of $815 in donations to start this semester: Desert Vista Campus, $150; Downtown Campus, $345; Northwest Campus, $150; West Campus, $150; and “Other,” $20.
The Hygiene Closet, renamed from the Hygiene Pantry, provides students with hygiene products, such as feminine hygiene products, deodorant, soap, shampoo and toothpaste.
College employees can make a one-time donation or set a monthly donation amount online.
You can choose a specific Hygiene Closet fund to support. Donations designated for Desert Vista or West campuses support the ARC center at that campus. Donations designated for Downtown, East or Northwest campuses fund distributions facilitated by the respective Student Life centers. Similarly, donations to Adult Education are distributed to its El Pueblo, El Rio and 29th Street sites. Meanwhile, donations to PimaOnline cover virtual gift cards for fully online students who cannot receive Pima in-person services. Donations made without a campus designation go to the Downtown Campus fund.
