College Updates
Help Us Amplify Student Voices
Pima’s marketing is evolving — we’re putting real students front and center to showcase their unique Pima journeys and let their voices shine. Know a student or alum who’d be a great fit? Encourage them to fill out this short form! They can share as much about themselves as they’d like and let us know which marketing projects interest them. With your help, we can feature more students and highlight the wide range of academic paths, interests and goals that make our Pima community so diverse. If you have questions, contact marketing@pima.edu.
Local Minimum Wage Increases to $15.45 Per Hour on Jan. 1
The minimum wage requirement for Tucson rises to $15.45 per hour on Jan. 1. Wages for Pima’s temporary employees paid under the Unclassified Pay Schedule will be updated at that time to comply. If you have questions regarding the change, contact Human Resources at hr@pima.edu.
Market on the Move Event Dec. 11
Get fresh produce at affordable prices! The public, along with Pima staff and students, can pay $10 for a box of fresh produce during Market on the Move by using the drive-thru west of the Advanced Manufacturing building at Downtown Campus. Market on the Move runs monthly, except in January.
- What: Market on the Move (MOM)
- When: Dec. 11, 9-11 a.m.
- Where: Pima Community College, Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave.
- Details: Find more information or volunteer for a Pima MOM here.
If Pima students and employees prefer a smaller, more student-focused box, they can pay $5 at the walk-up station near the ST Building. The $5 boxes are not available to the public.
