Free workshop for first-gen families Oct. 17

Students attending with family have a chance to win $300 scholarships!

Pima Community Colleges hosts a free workshop for students who would be the first generation of their family to attend college.

Cultivating Excelencia: First Generation Proud will be 5:30-7:30 p.m., Oct. 17 in F123 at Desert Vista Campus, 5901 S. Calle Santa Cruz. [Map]

A FAFSA workshop will be 4:30-5:15 for those interested.

Space is limited but no reservation is needed.

Students attending with a family member will be entered into a drawing to win one of two $300 scholarships.
