New Curriculum a Highway to High-Tech Careers
Pima, Maricopa and Central Arizona jointly create Automated Industrial Technology certificate

Tucson, AZ -- Pima Community College Chancellor Lee D. Lambert will join other community college leaders and more than 20 industry partners, including Raytheon and Intel, to mark completion of a new curriculum that will prepare workers for careers in high-tech manufacturing along the Interstate 10 corridor.

The Arizona Advanced Technology Network comprises Pima, Maricopa County Community College District and Central Arizona College, who have worked hand-in-hand with businesses along the corridor to create an Automated Industrial Technology certificate.
Chancellor Lambert will be joined Central Arizona College President Dr. Jackie Elliott and MCCCD Provost Dr. Karla Fisher.
