PCC’s Small Business Advisor Wins 2019 State Star Award

Tucson, AZ – The Pima Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is pleased to announce Karen Burns as the recipient of the 2019 SBDC State Star for Arizona.

Each year, America’s SBDC recognizes a State Star from each SBDC at its annual conference. The State Star designation recognizes an SBDC employee who exhibits exemplary performance, makes a significant contribution to his or her SBDC program and shows a strong commitment to small business.

America’s SBDC also recognized Rick Loveland as Customer Service Counselor of the Year, Cheli Martinez as Program Assistant of the Year and PCC’s Small Business Development Center as the 2019 Center of Excellence.
