Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College’s Center for Training and Development Business Technology Programs will recognize 18 students who have or soon will complete their business and/or medical office trainings.

Nine of the 18 students are completing their CTD trainings through the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Adult Services Y.O.E.M.E.S. Center for Employment Training. Office Assistant II, Medical Office Specialist and Medical Records Technician-Billing and Coding are among the trainings the students have/are completing.
Jane Hall, J.D., a business law/ethics discipline coordinator, is the guest speaker.
CTD holds a completion ceremony for Business Technology training completers several times during the year. Dozens of friends and family of graduates attend.
CTD offers certificate options for in-demand business- and healthcare-related fields. The duration of the trainings varies from about six months to 39 weeks. Student progress is based on the number of hours of successfully completed skills training rather than credits. These high-quality trainings are designed to lead to immediate jobs or to job advancement. The College boasts a 90 percent completion rate and an 85 percent job placement rate in CTD programs.
