TSRA Donates $10,000 in Car Show Proceeds to Pima
Next Tucson Street Rod Association Rodders Day Car Show scheduled for April 23, 2022
Tucson, AZ -- The fun and the funds keep on rolling.
Once again, the Tucson Street Rod Association (TSRA) and its sponsors are making a generous donation from the annual Rodders Day Car Show to Pima Community College
- When: 10 a.m., Dec. 9
- Where: Automotive Technology and Innovation Center, Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave. The center is off 11th Avenue and Mabel (map)
- Visuals: TSRA will deliver an oversized check and will have classic cars on hand
TSRA will present a check of $10,000 on Dec. 9 to Pima Foundation, bringing its total donations to the College over the last four years to $30,000.
And mark your calendars -- the next TSRA Rodders Day Car Show is set for April 23, 2022, in front of the new $12.5 million Automotive Technology and Innovation Center at the Downtown Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
“Our car show entrants, sponsors and vendors really believe in our mission of supporting Pima’s Applied Technology programs and producing more graduates in the hand-on trades,” said Ken Burk, Chairman of the Rodders Day Car Show.
“The Tucson Street Rod Association and its sponsors are strong supporters of Pima Community College, our Applied Technology programs and our students,” said Greg Wilson, Pima’s Dean of Applied Technology. “We are grateful for this partnership and the attention it brings to those programs.”
Pima’s Applied Technology programs include Automated Industrial Technology (Robotics), Automotive, Aviation, Building and Construction, Computer-Aided Design, Energy Technology, Machining, and Welding.
