Pima Aviation Program Hosts Open House May 4
Tour the Aviation Technology Center; meet industry leaders and learn about Pima’s program
Tucson, AZ – Tour Pima’s Aviation Technology Center and learn about the aircraft maintenance and repair industry at the Aviation Technology Program Career Fair & Open House on May 4.

“This is a community event — open to all so they can see the facilities,” says Denise M. Kingman, Director of Pima’s Employer Engagement and Career Services/Office of Apprenticeship.
Attendees may take ATC staff-led tours of the hangar and grounds, and talk to representatives from dozens of international and national companies, including Ascent Aviation Services, Bombardier and Universal Avionics, as well as Alaska Airlines and United Airlines.
Those considering a career in aviation technology can learn more about Pima’s Aviation program and meet instructors and students. They also can learn about financial aid and opportunities available through the Pima JTED Career and Technical Education District, JobPath and Arizona@Work Pima County, and community resources.
