Pima Community College Adopts Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget
Tucson, Arizona -- The Pima County Community College District Governing Board voted June 14, 2023, to adopt the College’s fiscal year 2023-2024 budget of $367.5 million for all funds.
The Governing Board approved an increase in the primary tax levy of 3.0% for fiscal year 2023-2024, as allowed by state law.
The fiscal year 2023-2024 combined property tax rate of $1.2802 per $100 of net assessed value will bring Pima County Community College District’s primary property taxes on a $100,000 home to $128.02. Without the increase, the total taxes on a $100,000 home would have been $124.29.
The secondary tax rate will continue at zero as the College has no outstanding general obligation debt.
Also, the budget includes a tuition increase of $3.00 per credit hour. The Board approved the tuition increase at its March 8, 2023 Regular Meeting.
Additional information on the College’s fiscal year 2023-2024 budget process is available on the College’s website.
