As part of the ReadyTechGo network of Arizona colleges equipping students with the skills needed to perform high-demand jobs in advanced manufacturing, Pima offers a flexible Automated Industrial Technology (AIT) program.

The program prepares students to run the complex automated assembly lines of the future with courses that build upon one another. You could be job-ready in as little as two weeks with your first certification. Then, continue your education, completing additional certifications and earning your associate degree in two years.

ReadyTechGo works with major Arizona employers, such as Raytheon Missile Systems and Boeing, to deliver coursework that teaches skills employers need.

You are a good fit for AIT if you like to analyze complex systems and work with diagrams, and enjoy learning about math and science.

Our certificate programs will prepare you for National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certification exams. NIMS certification is valuable because it is recognized by employers in industries throughout the U.S. So you can keep a step ahead of the robots wherever you work.

“I never worked in manufacturing before so I wasn’t sure I would be good at it, Once I got the hands-on experience, I really liked how quickly I was able to get the hang of it. ”
