Aircraft Structural Repair

Certificate

Learn basic skills in structural repair of aircraft in this specialized, industry-driven program. Students get detailed training on how to inspect, assemble and repair sheet metal and composite structures. This training also incorporates key components from the Aircraft General and Aircraft Airframe mechanics certificates.

Aviation Structural Repair does not fall under FAA Part 147 guidelines. Rather, it is a specialty industry-directed curriculum that prepares students to perform heavy structural repairs that exceed the requirements of Part 147 Airframe and Powerplant training.

Conditional Enrollment Program: You will be eligible to enroll in AVM courses once you have completed the requirement listed in Program Admission and the Department has authorized your enrollment. See the program director or advisor for more information.

Special Admissions Program: You are not fully admitted to this program until you have fulfilled the requirements listed above and below and have been officially admitted to the program. See the Aviation Program Assistant for details.
