Admission

Class B Commercial Driver's License Certificate

Before being fully admitted to this program, prospective students must complete the requirements listed below. Contact the Center for Transportation Training/Truck Driving Training Program Office at 520.206.2744 for assistance or additional information.

The prospective student must:

  • Be at least 18 yrs old (Students 18-20 are limited to driving in-state only)
  • Have a Class D (minimum) Driver's License for at least one year
  • Current with Child Support (if applicable)
  • Complete a PCC Admissions application and Verification of Lawful Presence form
  • Sign a release form for a copy of student’s Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) (or provide a copy of one to the Program Office)
  • Sign a Hazardous Materials Endorsement Notification
  • Have consent forms on file with the Program Office for any agency sponsoring the student and/or companies where the student has completed applications
  • Provide a list of pre-hires obtained by student or sign a waiver if the student already has a job or will do job searches independently
  • Provide the following documents to the Program Office so that official copies can be produced:
    • Valid Driver’s License,
    • Social Security Card,
    • U.S. Birth Certificate or U.S. Passport or Legal Resident Card
  • Undergo a drug test and physical screening
