Class B Commercial Driver's License

Certificate

This training program ensures you are fully prepared with the knowledge and skills to safely operate a commercial straight truck, such as a garbage or dump truck, and earn your Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). A Class B CDL with a Passenger Endorsement is also available; this prepares you to drive a bus. Please specify which program you are seeking when contacting our office to receive further information, such as schedules and pricing.

You will learn the basic operations of the vehicle, safe operating practices, advanced operating practices and some vehicle maintenance. Your training will include classroom instruction and hands-on driving using a commercial vehicle over 26,000 lbs or a full-length bus on the driving range and on the road.

Program is compliant with Entry Level Driver Training federal rule.

Title IV Financial Aid eligible: No

Conditional Admission program: You will be eligible to enroll in TDT courses once you have completed the requirement listed in Program Admission and the Department has authorized your enrollment. See the program director or advisor for more information.
