Associate of Applied Science
Being a paramedic is not only a great way to make a positive change in the world, but it is a fulfilling career choice that presents a different set of challenges everyday.
In our program, you will learn how to assess medical situations, provide high-level emergency medical care and stabilize emergency patients. You also will learn how to provide advanced life support, including endotracheal intubation, cardiac arrhythmia recognition and intervention. The program also includes drug therapy, invasive procedures, advanced airway management and I.V. therapy.
Selective Admission program: Students must meet the preparatory coursework and any other prerequisites listed in Program Admission and apply to the program. Only the most qualified students are admitted to the program. See an advisor for details.
