High School Career Connect
What is High School Career Connect?
High School Career Connect is designed to inspire and inform high school students and their families about education and career connected pathways that are focused on preparing students for success in high-demand high-wage STEM professions, including Computer Science and Cybersecurity.
This program has been made possible through the Center for the Future of Arizona’s Education Innovation and Research grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
What are career connected pathways?
Career connected pathways* help young learners envision and prepare for the array of promising career opportunities available to them as they prepare for their future. Through Pima’s Dual Enrollment program, courses are offered on the high school campus at no cost to students. Students earn high school and college credit simultaneously, which reduces the time and cost to earning a college certificate or degree. Students also have access to Pima resources such as libraries, academic advisors and tutors, student life clubs and more! *Course availability varies by high school; check with your high school counselor to see which courses are offered at your school.
How do I get started?
