Educational Talent Search
Educational Talent Search at Pima Community College’s Desert Vista Campus began providing services in the late ‘80s. Today the program is funded to serve 880 students enrolled at Desert View, Pueblo, and Sunnyside high schools. This free program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, provides students at participating high schools with academic, career and financial counseling and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to complete a postsecondary education.

- Assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Program Eligibility
- 2/3 of participating students served are low-income and first-generation Students served need to be enrolled at participating high schools
- Students must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Students must be US citizens or permanent residents
- Student Commitment
- Submit a completed application online
- Maintain 2.5 GPA or higher
- Remain DEDICATED to higher education goals

Funding for the TRiO Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program is provided by the US Department of Education and requires specific documentation for enrollment into the Program. The information is protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
