College Updates
Help Us Amplify Student Voices
Pima’s marketing is evolving — we’re putting real students front and center to showcase their unique Pima journeys and let their voices shine. Know a student or alum who’d be a great fit? Encourage them to fill out this short form! They can share as much about themselves as they’d like and let us know which marketing projects interest them. With your help, we can feature more students and highlight the wide range of academic paths, interests and goals that make our Pima community so diverse. If you have questions, contact marketing@pima.edu.
Deadline for Cababi Art & Literary Magazine Submissions
The deadline to submit for the 2025-2026 issue of Cababi Art & Literary Magazine is extended to Jan. 25. Cababi is the official Pima publication that features art, literature and special projects by full-time and part-time faculty, staff and administrators. Cababi accepts submissions in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, all visual arts and live performances.
New Communities of Practice for Supervisors Forming
Human Resources is organizing a cohort of approximately 15 supervisors to share their past and current leadership challenges and explore possible solutions.
This new Communities of Practice for Supervisors will meet virtually each month to encourage reflection on areas of opportunity, strengthening of leadership skills and exploration of new approaches to resolving challenges. You must have your camera and microphone on and active engagement is expected.
Supervisors who are interested should email employeerelations@pima.edu by Jan. 29. Please share your preferred day to meet and whether morning or afternoon is best.
Nominations Open for Student Employee of the Year
Nominations for the College’s best student workers are being accepted through Jan. 30. This is a great opportunity to highlight the amazing work your student employee does and to show your appreciation. All student employees across the College are eligible for nomination on this form.
30th Annual Golf Tourney Is May 30
Mark your calendars for May 30, when the College hosts its 30th Annual Golf Tournament at Skyline Country Club. Enjoy a day on the greens while supporting programs that enrich the student experience. Register today to secure your spot. For details, call 520-206-4809 or email golf@pimafoundation.org.
