It is based on the Maximum Pell Grant award for the Award Year minus your Student Aid Index (SAI) and the number of credits the applicant or student plans to take per semester. It is important to note that financial aid availability may vary from year to year and is based on many factors. The estimates provided by this calculator are not binding on the U.S. Secretary of Education, the State of Arizona, or Pima Community College.
