Student Verification Process
Verification confirms the accuracy of the information on your FAFSA. You may need to provide additional documentation, and if you are a dependent student, your parent(s) might also be required to submit information.
Pima Community College verifies all federal selections and can verify any student with suspicious or inaccurate information. Errors found during verification will be reviewed, and necessary changes will be made electronically.
Please log in to your Financial Aid Dashboard to view the required documents.
Required Documents may include (but are not limited to):
- Student’s tax transcripts
- Spouse’s tax transcripts
- Parent’s tax transcripts (Only required for Dependent Students)
- Untaxed income for students and appropriate family members
- Verification of Household Size
- Verification of VA Benefits (not all VA Benefits)
- Verification of receipt of SNAP
- Other items as needed
Note: All verification documents must be turned in to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships before the end of the academic year the student is trying to receive aid for and verification must be finalized before an award of Title IV financial aid is made.
