Student Verification Process
Verification confirms the accuracy of the information on your FAFSA. You may need to provide additional documentation, and if you are a dependent student, your parent(s) might also be required to submit information.
Pima Community College verifies all federal selections and can verify any student with suspicious or inaccurate information. Errors found during verification will be reviewed, and necessary changes will be made electronically.
Please log in to your Student Aid Forms portal to view the required documents.
Required Documents may include (but are not limited to):
- Student’s tax transcripts or IRS 1040
- Spouse’s tax transcripts or IRS 1040
- Parent’s tax transcripts or IRS 1040 (Only required for Dependent Students)
- Untaxed income for students and appropriate family members
- Verification of Family Size
- Verification of VA Benefits (not all VA Benefits)
- Verification of receipt of SNAP
- Other items as requested
Verification Deadline: 30 days from initial notification
Final Deadline: September 1st following the end of the academic year.
