Student and Employee Expectations
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (OFAS) values integrity, ethical reasoning, and community responsibility. The expectations below aim to establish mutual respect, encourage civil discourse, and create an environment conducive to a caring culture. Furthermore, the procedure OFAS follows for addressing misconduct is outlined below and coincides with Pima Community College’s Student Code of Conduct. These expectations are for students and employees but also apply to persons accompanying or acting on behalf of the student.
The OFAS reserves the right to terminate a session or refuse service when staff deems it necessary.
- Be courteous, respectful, and professional with each interaction.
- Be prepared and provide accurate information to the best of your ability
- Be honest and accept responsibility and consequences for prior conduct
- Do not behave in a way that intentionally or recklessly endangers, threatens, or causes physical or emotional harm to any person
- Follow federal, state, or local laws
- Treat campus and personal property with respect
- Avoid disrupting the environment or the business of the college
