Can University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, and Arizona State University students take classes at Pima?
Yes! Many university students take transferable math and general education courses at Pima.
Do I need to apply for admission?
Yes. All visiting students must complete the Guest Student application.
Can I change the term on my application?
If you selected the wrong term (e.g., fall instead of summer), simply submit a new application for the correct term. Once submitted, allow time to receive your admission confirmation before registering for classes. To avoid delays, be sure to select the correct term when applying.
Will my credits transfer?
Transferability depends on your home institution and degree program. Always verify course equivalencies with your advisor before registering.
What if I already completed the prerequisite somewhere else?
You may request a prerequisite override by submitting an unofficial transcript (see Step 5).
Can I take online classes?
Yes! Many visiting students choose online courses for convenience and flexibility.
Students may be eligible for funding at the institution where they intend to complete a certificate or degree program. Please speak to the Financial Aid Office at your home institution about Consortium Agreements.
