Commencement Ceremony

Your cap and gown, stoles and commemorative items can be ordered from any Pima Bookstore or online here.

Cap, Gown and Tassel Cost: $56.98 (includes tax)

Honors Stole: $32 (includes tax)

During Commencement day check-in for each ceremony at the Tucson Convention Center, the bookstore will have for sale a limited number of caps and gowns, as well as flowers, leis and stuffed animals.

We’re creating featured student profiles for pima.edu and our social media to highlight PCC grads, and we’d love for you to be one of them. If you’re interested, tell us about yourself.

A digital commencement ceremony announcement will be made available the first week of April. You can share this announcement with your family and friends. [Announcement coming soon]

Anyone needing accommodation to participate in the ceremony should make the request before May 1 to Pima’s Access and Disability Resources Office, ADRhelp@pima.edu.

TCC Arena security scans all guests and students upon entering the Arena. Please allow enough time to park, make your way to the entrance and your designated area.

Recommended Arrival Times

10:30 a.m. Ceremony 

• Graduates: 9 a.m.
• Guests: 9:30 a.m.

4:00 p.m. Ceremony

• Graduates: 2:30 p.m.
• Guests: 3:00 p.m.

Free parking will be available in all Tucson Convention Center parking lots and garages.

Family and friends of graduates are encouraged to attend the ceremony for free. They should try to arrive by 9:30 a.m. for the 10 o’clock ceremony and 3 p.m., for the 4 o’clock ceremony
to allow time to park at or near TCC, walk to the arena and go through a security scan at an arena entrance.

Free parking will be available. The ceremony begins promptly at 7 p.m.

During the ceremony you will receive a ceremonial scroll. If you are graduating in spring or summer 2026, your diploma will be mailed later.

2026 digital Commencement program.

Graduates will have a Commencement Program on their chair on the Arena floor. In addition, we will post a PDF of the program here during Commencement Week.

Some candidates and graduates are not listed due to individual preferences on privacy.

Complete the Commencement Speaker Application. We will choose a speaker who represents the students participating in each ceremony.

Graduation is a culmination of your academic achievements and the memories you’ve created during your time at Pima Community College, and we want to highlight YOU during the show.

Want to order your cap and gown while you're at West? The bookstore will be open late on those days to take orders.
