If you graduated in summer or fall 2024 or will be graduating in spring or summer 2025, you are welcome to participate in the ceremony

It is free to participate, but required cap and gown must be purchased (details below)
No RSVP
No rehearsal

Please, be aware of the details of Tucson Convention Center’s clear bag policy listed on their webpage. You can also find information about parking and other frequently asked questions there.

For liability reasons, silly string, vuvuzelas, air horns and other noisemakers are not allowed in TCC facilities. This applies to graduates as well as their guests.

Your cap and gown, stoles and commemorative items can be ordered from any Pima Bookstore or online here [TBA link may change].

A limited number of caps and gowns will be on sale the night of Commencement, during check-in at the Tucson Convention Center.

A digital commencement ceremony announcement will be made available the first week of April. You can share this announcement with your family and friends. [PDF Announcement coming soon]

Anyone needing accommodation to participate in the ceremony should make the request before May 1 to Pima’s Access and Disability Resources Office, 520-206-6688 or ADRhelp@pima.edu.

COMMENCEMENT DAY INSTRUCTIONS

As a safety precaution, all guests and students will be scanned upon entering the TCC Arena. Please allow enough time to park, make your way to the entrance and designated area for guests and graduates.

Recommended Arrival Times
Graduates 5:30 p.m.
Guests 6:00 p.m.

Free parking will be available in all Tucson Convention Center parking lots and garages.

During the ceremony you will receive a ceremonial scroll. If you are graduating in spring or summer 2025, your diploma will be mailed later.
