Application Process
Dental Hygiene AAS
- Complete Prerequisites: Ensure all required coursework is finished and grades are posted before applying.
- Access the Application: Once prerequisites are complete, log into your MyPima account. Navigate to the Students tab and select HRP Program Application from the dropdown starting Nov. 1.
- Application Timeline: Applications are accepted from Nov. 1 to Jan. 10 for the following Fall cohort.
- Notification: The Admissions Committee will review applications, and you'll be notified 4-6 weeks after the deadline.
- Seat Availability: We accept 30 students each year, with up to 15 seats available for new applicants due to waitlisted students.
- Stay Informed: Please check your MyPima email regularly for important updates.
- Account Reactivation: If you haven’t registered for courses for 3 semesters, your PCC account may be inactive. You’ll need to re-apply to reactivate it.
Re-Application for Waitlisted Students
If you applied for the program before November 20, 2023 and were placed on the program waitlist, you have options:
- Re-Apply: Waitlisted students may re-apply during the Open Application period for a chance at one of the 15 available seats.
- Dropping the Waitlist: To apply for an earlier cohort, you must drop your current waitlist position before submitting a new application. We recommend doing this no more than one week before the Open Application period.
- Waitlist Status: If you're not selected during the Open Application, you will return to your original waitlist position. There may also be movement on the waitlist after the Open Application period ends.
