Aircraft Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics

Certificate

You’ll expand and deepen the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills gained in our Aircraft General Mechanics certificate courses. In compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations outlined in 14 CFR Part 147, these courses must be taken in a prescribed sequence to ensure comprehensive learning and proper progression. These advanced courses cover critical systems, structures and maintenance procedures, preparing you for the complexity and responsibility of aviation maintenance.

Upon successful completion of this certificate program, you’ll be eligible to apply for FAA certification as an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic — a credential that opens doors to a wide range of careers in the aviation industry.

You’ll Be FAA Certification-Ready

You’ll be qualified for FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification as soon as you complete this certificate because its courses are taught per the FAA’s Federal Aviation Regulations Part 147 for FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician schools.
