If you’ve ever dreamed of working on airplanes, Pima’s Aviation Technology Program is the place to start. You’ll train with real aircraft — including Boeing 727s — at our high-tech Aviation Technology Center on the grounds of Tucson International Airport.
Start with a certificate, work toward your associate degree, and get ready for takeoff in an exciting, well-paying career in aviation! At Pima, our programs are designed to help you build your skills as you go. Start with foundational certificates and advance to higher-level and/or specialized certificates and a two-year degree, all while gaining the hands-on experience needed for in-demand careers.
At Pima, you’ll train in the huge 97,000+ square-foot Aviation Technology Center, packed with everything you need to get real hands-on experience. You’ll work on 21 actual aircraft, including three Boeing 727s, two regional jets, and a mix of general aviation planes.
The center has two full-size hangars, a modern tool crib, 10 classrooms and 10 specialized labs — all designed to help you build the skills you’ll use on the job in the aviation industry.
