Autonomous Vehicle Driver & Operations Specialist
Certificate
In as quickly as one semester, driving professionals can learn how to operate and work with self-driving trucks. This certificate program teaches students how to interact with autonomous vehicles, the basics of computer hardware components, electrical systems, safety, health and environmental regulations, and domestic freight transportation.
Career opportunities include positions as an autonomous commercial vehicle driver trainee, co-driver or operations specialist.
Graduates who complete this program may have job opportunities with various autonomous trucking companies partnering with Pima Community College to improve this program as the technology evolves.

Special Admission program: In order to be fully admitted to this program you must have a current Class A Commercial Drivers License.
