What To Expect After Submitting Your FAFSA

2025-26 FAFSA Form

The 2025–26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) is available to the public now.

Pima Community College will process FAFSAs in the first quarter of the 2025 calendar year. Please continue to monitor this page and your MyPima account for updates.

2024–25 FAFSA form

The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) is also available. Check your MyPima account and PCC student email account for updates. If you qualify for a Pell Grant, feel free to use the Pell Grant Estimator as you prepare for the Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025 semesters.

What you Can Expect

  1. Late March: FAFSA Receipt Begins

    Pima Community College (PCC) began receiving 2024-25 FAFSAs for applicants who selected PCC as a school from the U.S. Department of Education. We continue to receive FAFSAs daily. Use school code 007266 to send your FAFSA to PCC when you apply.

  2. Late May: FAFSA Processing Begins

    FAFSA processing has begun and emailed letters are being sent to the applicants confirming receipt of their FAFSA. The 2024-2025 financial aid requirements are ready for review on MyPima/Financial Aid and Scholarships.

  3. Late May: Award Processing Begins

    Financial aid awards and scholarships have begun posting to student records for students who have completed all the financial aid requirements, and who meet the aid and scholarship eligibility criteria. Loan offers have begun posting to student records who have loan eligibility, and can be accepted or declined through the Financial Aid Dashboard.

  4. August: Aid Disbursements Begin

    Financial aid and scholarship funds begin to be disbursed to the student account according to the class start date. Visit the Disbursements and Refunds page for aid-specific dates.
