Preparatory Coursework
To be eligible for federal financial aid you must be enrolled in an eligible academic program. Students only completing preparatory coursework to be admitted to a selective admission program do not meet this requirement.
If you are looking to be admitted to a selective admission program we recommend that you talk with the specific program and/or academic advisor to review your options. We recommend you have all the information before deciding which program you want to enroll in and complete.
Here are a few things you should do to help ensure a smooth transition:
- Review the Program of Study and Eligible Programs & Courses webpage to determine if you are eligible to receive a degree in the program you want to enroll in.
- Submit your official transcript for evaluation
- Make an appointment with the academic program and/or academic advisor to talk through the options available to you and create an academic plan
- Have an unofficial transcript available for the appointment
- Update you educational intent to preparatory coursework
- Submit your FAFSA and add PCC’s school code of 007266
- Log into MyPima to review your requirements on your Financial Aid Dashboard
- Contact us if you have any questions or want to make an appointment
- Apply for scholarships at pima.scholarshipuniverse.com
