Student Publications
Hone your editorial and project management skills by joining one of Pima’s student-run publications. Whether you’re interested in journalism, fiction, poetry, or art, you can find your niche here.
SandScript
SandScript is Pima's award-winning, student-run literary magazine and features prose, poetry, and visual art from Pima students on all campuses. Students enrolled in WRT 162 Literary Magazine Workshop create and design the entire publication.
SandScript has been published for over 30 years and has a national reputation. SandScript has received First Prize in the National Contest for Collegiate Magazines, held by the Community College Humanities Association, for five years in a row, from 2015-2019. The contest was on hold during the pandemic years, and upon resumption, SandScript won awards for individual works in prose, poetry and visual arts in the 2022 and 2023 editions.
