College-Directed Training
The College Directed Training is compliance training designed to meet Federal, State, and Accreditation requirements for the College. All new employees of Pima Community College must complete this training within 30 days of their start date. The training curriculum is located within MyCareerCenter (PCC employee training portal). Biennially, all employees will also receive the College Directed Training Refresher which is a series of mini-trainings that must also be completed.
Leadership Development
Pima Community College offers leadership development for all employees who are current supervisors and/or aspire to supervise.
The PCC Leadership Camp is a self-paced and interactive program where an employee can spend a little time to become a leader or to brush up on their skills. Meet with an OED coach to decide how you want to navigate this self-paced and interactive program. PCC Leadership Camp is a blend of online modules, live virtual training workshops, and live bootcamps and speakers.
Supervision in the 21st Century Program is for supervisors and/or those who aspire to be a supervisor and offers comprehensive material to help you navigate modern challenges that supervisors face in the workplace. Components include Coaching sessions, Crucial Conversations for Accountability, Virtual instructor-led workshops, and Online modules. This program runs once a year starting in the fall.
Teaching & Learning Center
The Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) supports all faculty and instructional staff in developing the art, science, and scholarship of teaching and learning. Employees can find out more information on the TLC webpage and search for events in MyCareerCenter.
