Professional Development

Organizational Effectiveness & Development (OED) offers multiple training opportunities to support the growth and professional development of Pima Community College employees.

MyLearning

Our online Professional Development system, MyLearning, allows you to find upcoming professional development events, create annual goals and complete performance reviews, register for workshops, and much more.

Employees have access to Percipio through MyLearning which provides them with 40,000+ learning assets, including online courses, books, labs, test prep and live courses, boot camps, and leader camps. Percipio also provides courses to prepare employees for a variety of Certification Exams (IT, HR, Project Management and many more).

Log into MyPima and select the MyLearning widget with the astronaut on the main page of MyPima to access thousands of learning opportunities, courses, books, videos, leader camps, certification prep courses and more.

College-Directed Training

The College Directed Training is compliance training designed to meet Federal, State, and Accreditation requirements for the College. All new employees of Pima Community College must complete this training within 30 days of their start date. The training curriculum is located within MyLearning (PCC employee training portal). Biennially, all employees will also receive the College Directed Training Refresher which is a series of mini-trainings that must also be completed.

Teaching & Learning Center

The Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) supports all faculty and instructional staff in developing the art, science, and scholarship of teaching and learning. Employees can find out more information on the TLC webpage and search for events in MyLearning.
